THE ASK:
Produce a series of short videos telling the stories of climate activists all across the United States to call for climate action on a legislative level

THE HOW:
Working with a tight team of producers, I was brought in to monitor and help execute the hundreds of storyteller interviews and contribute in the writers-room style sessions to craft exceptional scripts to tell our participants’ stories. Delegating various production tasks to associate producers and assistants, we would ramp up for shoots in less than a week and travel out to states including Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and more. This involved sourcing local production assistants and sound operators sometimes within 24-48 hours and coordinating all necessary craft services and schedules with them. Through the use of a shared Google Drive with Google Docs and Sheets, as well as multiple Monday boards dedicated to each individual shoot, the enormity of projects under one umbrella were expertly organized.

THE RESULT:
27 videos were delivered to the client over the course 2 years, with the most popular garnering upwards of 80K views across the client’s social media platforms. Additionally, the series received a Silver Telly Award in the category Political Issues & Candidates — Online Commercials.
