THE ASK: |
Work with 16 different event participants fully-remote during the COVID-19 pandemic to organize and craft a 30-minute long presentation video to air at the kickoff Zoom ceremony for the AJC Miami and Broward Community of Conscience
|
THE HOW: |
Working with the Miami-branch president and director, I crafted video materials to help guide each participant through recording their own portions of the ceremony. I would communicate directly with these community leaders via email and phone to problem-solve technical issues and provide advice for optimal lighting, sound, and video quality, often researching and recommending equipment for them to use that they may already own or which could easily be purchased online. With all 16 participants user-generated content, I then proceeded to edit together the videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, craft graphical assets in Adobe After Effects, polish all sound elements in Adobe Audition, and gathered and used cinematic stock video assets to create moving moments throughout the event video. During the Zoom event, I functioned as the technical director, streaming the video for the attendees and solving any technical issues in real time.

THE RESULT: |
Over 200 viewers attended the Zoom event and watched the presentation video, kicking off AJC Miami’s Community of Conscience and encouraging hundreds more individuals to join in solidarity alongside community leaders from the NAACP, Epsicopal Diocese, Bush Ventures, and more.
